Welcome

Picture
At Gnome Home Designs, specially selected driftwood, sea glass, and weathered wood are used to make miniature houses.  These pieces are one-of-a-kind artwork which can be beautifully displayed on a wall, table or in your garden.  They can include playful elements such as swings, seesaws, bird houses, furniture, outhouses, lighting and mirrors.

About the Artist

Picture
Dennis Sheehy first came up with the concept of Gnome Homes when he visited Monhegan Island, off the coast of Maine, in 1994.  There he found little houses made out of materials collected around the Cathedral Woods floor.  Visitors created the houses for the gnomes, fairies and other mythological beings believed to inhabit the woods.
